Blockbuster Disney movie "Frozen" is officially making a comeback with a new storyline known as "Frozen Northern Nights". And it will be available in books and TV series.


E! News has learned that Disney Publishing will release the first book of "Frozen Northern Lights" in July and Disney Channel will feature a series of LEGO-animated TV shorts this fall.

According to an exclusive report by Yahoo, the new series will be about Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven being on a mission to fix the Northern Lights for a special troll ceremony. Joining the Arendelle crew on this adventure is an adorable new character, "Little Rock", one of Kristoff's troll friends who will help them with their mission through his sack full of magic crystals.

Adding to the excitement of "Frozen" fans are the participation of the original voice cast - Idina Menzel as Elsa, Kristen Bell will be Anna's voice, Jonathan Groff as Kristoff and last but not the least, Josh Gad as the very charming Olaf.

According to Gad, he is very much excited to be back. He also that "Frozen Northern Lights" is unbelievable and fans, which include his two daughters, will absolutely love it.   

With the movie being a megahit among children and adults alike, Disney has reached horizons and continually expands the "Frozen" empire. This includes a Broadway adaptation of the movie which will be opened to the public in the spring of 2018 as announced by Disney Theatrical Group last February.

"Frozen" has taken the world by storm since its debut in 2013. With US$1.27 billion in worldwide box office, it is now known as the top-billing animated feature of all time. The movie has also brought in skyrocketing sales in music albums and downloads for the movie soundtrack, merchandise such as dolls and accessories and of course, theme park attractions.

"Frozen" has been recognized all over the world and has won numerous awards including Oscars for Best Animated Film and Original Song last 2014. In its annual shareholder meeting last year, The Mouse House has publicized the development of a sequel to the blockbuster movie.
