Ever since the news of the sanction of season 2 by the makers of ''Seven Deadly Sins'' is doing the rounds, the fans are waiting for more updates on the upcoming series. As per the latest update, the English dub will be released in 2017.
This Netflix anime will be released in 2016 in Japanese and the fans are waiting for the English dub now. As per the latest updates, the English dub is likely to be released in 2017. This TV series is very popular in Japan and is known as ''Nanatsu no Taizai.'' The OVA video was released in 2015, however as of now only the unofficial English subtitles are used in them. According to Anime News Network, the makers are working on this now.
Now since it is confirmed that Tomokazu Tokoro will direct the Season 2 and Yuniko Ayana will write the scripts of the project, the fans can relax as the anime series is in good hands. Since script was the strongest part of Season 1, there is a huge responsibility on the shoulders of Ayana. The cast and crew of the upcoming season was talked about in deatils by many publications.
It is also expected that the plot of the manga and the anime series might differ. The fans know that the manga publisher Kodansha Comics has been releasing the English issues in the past, the wait for the latest update continues. As it is known to the viewers, ''The Seven Deadly Sins'' (Nanatsu no Taizai) is written and illustrated by Nakaba Suzuki. Between Oct. 2014 to Mar. 2015, the season one was aired which had 24 episodes.
The original cast of Season 1 will more or less remain intact in Season 2. The voice of the protagonist Meliodas was provided by Yūki Kaji in Japanese and Bryce Papenbrook in English. For Season 2, the Japanese voice will be provided by Kaji. The character of Elizabeth Liones got the voice from Sora Amamiya in Japanese and Erika Harlacher in English. In Season 2 also we will see Amamiya giving the force to the voice of Elizabeth Liones.
