Song Joong-Ki, 30, recently shared his affection for acting and admitted that he would want to act with "Descendants of the Sun" co-star Song Hye Kyo in the future. The Hallyu star recently held his eighth fan meeting in Taipei, Taiwan on June 25, Saturday.

In the midst of the fan meeting, Joong-Ki revealed his thoughts on various topics. First off, he revealed that he longed for being a member of the Korean national speed skating team before he wanted to become an actor. However, he gave up such dream because his aptitudes were seemingly not up to par.

The actor went ahead to say that seeing the fans' love in person seemingly made him believed that he has made the right choice of becoming an actor. He then added that he had learned a lot from the previous fan meetings he had, while greeting a thousands of fans face to face.

"Even 30 years later, I want to act in an age-appropriate role," Soompi quoted Joong-Ki as saying, as he keeps on flaunting his fondness for acting. "I will be less popular, and there will most likely be fewer roles available [to me], but I think that I will be able to act well according to my age. I want to continue to act in the future."

Much to the immense cheers and excitement of the fans, Joong-Ki revealed that she wanted to act with Hye Kyo 30 years from now, if the actress is okay with it. In a press conference on April 15, Joong-Ki previously said that the heroine is a great senior to him, stating that Hye Kyo is one of his role models in acting.

Meanwhile, Joong-Ki's Taipei fan meeting took place at the National Taiwan University Sports Center, wherein more than 4,200 fans were in attendance. The recent event marks Joong Ki's first visit to Taiwan since 2012.

At the fan meeting, the actor performed a rendition of the Mandarin pop song, "A Little Happiness," which is also the theme song of the Taiwanese blockbuster film called "Our Times," Focus Taiwan News Channel reported. He also sang one of the original soundtracks from the drama, wherein singer Gummy appeared as a special guest, as well.
