One Punch Man is an anime TV series produced by Madhouse based from a Japanese webcomic created by One.
New details and possible spoilers for "One Punch Man" season 2 will feature three major villains in the show and the English dub premiere of the first episode during the Anime Expo 2016 event.
Several rumors are making rounds that "One Punch Man" season 2 will feature Saitama facing not just one major villain, but three when the show returns. The first being Garou, the former student of S-Class ranked 3 hero Bang/Silver Fang and main antagonist in the "Hero Hunt" arc. Silver Fang took Garou in his dojo and trained him the "Water Stream Rock" style of martial arts.
Garou rooted for villains instead of heroes as a child and took out almost every student in Silver Fang's dojo to demonstrate his power. Silver Fang had no choice, but to exile Garou from his dojo as the latter learned different martial arts styles to increase his power.
Another rumored villain featured in "One Punch Man" season 2 will be the returning Lord Boros, the leader to the Dark Matter Thieves. It was during the season 1 of "One Punch Man" that the aliens invaded earth which resulted in the total destruction of City A. Saitama and the rest of the S-Class heroes fough the invaders, resulting in the fateful meeting between Lord Boros and Saitam. The two clashed in an intense battle, but Saitama was able to beat Boros as the villain commented that Saitama is still holding back his true power and admitted that he is no match for him. For now, the circumstances of Lord Boros' rumored return has not been revealed.
Lastly, Amai Mask is also hinted as a potential main villain in "One Punch Man" season 2. Amai Mask is the ranked one hero in the A-Class and also works as an actor and singer. Amai Mask believes that heroes should be a perfect example to the public and if the heroes cannot protect them, they must strive to be stronger. However, underneath his popularity lies a darker personality as he believes that "evil" should be exterminated quickly as mercilessly killed the capture crew of the Dark Matter Thieves without giving it a second thought. Amai Mask also mocked the rest of the S-Class heroes for their "failure" in saving City A and statetd that the only reason he stayed as number in the A-Class as he believes that those who are worthy of an S-class shoud get it and he will decides if the hero is worthy enough to earn the title. Amai Mask will have an interest in Saitama and will likely uncover the secret of his powers and use on his own purposes in season 2, MovieNewsGuide reported.
In other news, the schedule for the English dub of "One Punch Man" episode 1 has been revealed as the official website of the Anime Expo 2016 event.
According to the scheduled, the "One Punch Man" episode 1 English dub will be on July 2 3:30-5:30 PM in the Main Events Hall B in the Los Angles Convention Center.
The event will also feature special guest such as Saitama's voice actor Makoto Fukurawa, anime director Shingo Natsume along with the rest of the "One Punch Man" and a musical performance by JAM Project.
For now, anime fans will expect more details on "One Punch Man" season 2 at the Anime Expo 2016 event next month and hopefully get the full plot details, new characters and an official release date of the anime show.
