"Fifty Shades Darker" is just a few steps away from completing their shoot and finally wrapping up production. Reports stated that the first instalment "Fifty Shades of Grey" gave the fans a glimpse on the true colors of Christian Grey and how Anastasia Steele would fit in his crazy world, now that the couple is way past the getting-to-know-each other stage, the upcoming sequel would most likely focus on the budding romance between the two.

According to Movie News Guide, details about "Fifty Shades Darker" is completely being kept under wraps, although one cast member was recently cornered in Monte Carlo Film Festival and was forced to dish out the very first confirmed detail about the upcoming sequel.

Marcia Gay Harden, who plays the role of Christian Grey's mother, Grace Trevelyan Grey, stated that "Fifty Shades Darker" would focus on the couple's love story. The "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel would show how Ana finally made her way into Christian's heart, and finally broke down all the walls guarding him. Harden also stated that "There's all the Fifty Shades sex to it, it's a very sexy love story. Whereas in the first one they're just meeting each other, so it's more the intrigue of what is that life about, and the second one they fall in love."

In other news, according to Melty, fans would have to watch out for Christian Grey's ex-girlfriend Leila Williams who would serve as the protagonist in the upcoming sequel.

According to the report, Leila Williams would try everything to ruin the relationship of Anastasia and Christian in "Fifty Shades Darker," only to find out that despite all her efforts, the two love birds' relationship are only getting stronger.

Bella Heathcote, who will play the role of Leila, stated that her character is not psychotic at all, even when recent set pictures showed Leila threatening Ana using a gun. Heathcote even stated that Leila's only going through the post break-up grief which led her into doing absurd things. Despite her obsession with Christian, Heathcote stood by her character's side and stated that most of the people who are experiencing heartbreak goes through at this stage. She even said "I think we can all relate to that feeling of grief and heartbreak."

"Fifty Shades Darker" will be released on Feb. 10, 2017.
