New details and possible spoilers for "The Flash" season 3 will feature the return of Jesse Quick into the show and the "Flashpoint" plot will affect "Arrow" season 5.
It was previously reported that the first episode of "The Flash" season 3 will be called "Flaspoint" thanks to a tweet made by Grant Gustin. The original "Flashpoint" storyline in the DC comics featured Barry Allen/The Flash waking up in an alternate timeline without his speed and as a result the world is in chaos due to war between Wonder Woman and the Amazons against Aquaman and the Atlanteans.
It was due to Barry messing the timeline after he attempted to save his mother, Nora Allen from being killed and this is what happened during the season 2 finale of "The Flash". With the timeline being altered as a result of Barry Allen/The Flash's (Gustin) actions, will these affect the future of other DC TV series such as "Arrow", "Legends of Tomorrow" and "Supergirl"?
"Arrow" star Stephen Amell tease during a Facebook live that the events of episode 1 of "The Flash" season 3 "could" have possible changes to the plot of "Arrow" season 5, CosmicBookNews reported.
So far, CW Network and the showrunners such Greg Berlanti and March Guggenheim have not yet made a statement regarding the possible changes that the first episode of "The Flash" season 3 in other DC TV series.
In other news, season 2 cast member Violett Bean confirms the return of Jesse Chambers Wells for season 3 and fans will likely see Jesse as speedster in the show.
Beane told TVLine that she was excited when her character Jesse was affected by the dark matter energy along with Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) in season 2 giving fans a hint that the two will eventually have Speed Force powers, but did not happened.
However, with the Flashpoint event happening in "The Flash" season 3, there is a possibility that Jesse could be the hero Jesse Quick in that alternate reality since anything can in time travel.
Jesse Chamber Wells is the daughter of Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) from Earth 2 as season 2 dealt with her being a prisoner of Hunter Zolomon/Zoom (Teddy Sears), but was rescued by her father and The Flash and ends up being trapped temporarily on Earth 1.
"The Flash" season 3 will premiere on Oct. 4 at 8pm on the CW Network.
