Fans of “Descendants of the Sun” were disappointed when Song Joong-ki and Song Hye Kyo did not admit any romantic relationship at the Chengdu fan meet when she was the special guest of the actor. They were disappointed the second time when she was not the guest at the Taiwan fan meet on June 25.
Followers of the two actors may not like it when they find out that some fans are now rooting for a MinKyo love team instead to replace the Song-Song team. It would be made up of Song Hye Kyo and Lee Min-ho, reported the Inquisitr.
But it goes beyond wistful thinking of fans – although there are no offers yet for the two for a project on TV or the movies – since someone has created a Facebook fan page titled MinKyo magical couple.
As early as two years ago, before “Descendants of the Sun” was filmed, Lee Min-ho had already stated he wanted to work with Song Hye Kyo in an interview by ISplus. Besides the actress being his ideal type, Lee Min-ho explained, “She has an elegant and classic style, her charisma is also strong and her acting talent is outstanding. If we act together, I think I could learn a lot from her.”
However, he thinks he would tremble a lot if that time comes. Song Joong-ki buckled some of his lines with Song Hye Kyo also during the filming of the 16-episode Korean blockbuster drama.
Lee Min Ho is currently promoting “Bounty Hunters” in China through a special preview in Beijing on June 22 and two promotional events in Xi’an on June 23 ad Fuzhou on June 24. He and girlfriend Bae Suzy had reportedly split recently which brings the possibility of the MinKyo love team happening.
