"American Horror Story: Hotel" actor Evan Peters teased that although the actors for "American Horror Story" Season 6, which include big stars Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, and Cheyenne Jackson, have begun filming in early June, the cast still don't know the end game of the series. According to Movie News Guide, Peters also shared that he wanted a space galactic setting for the newest season of "American Horror Story"; however, it still remains unknown as to what the official setting of Season 6 is, as Peters still wouldn't spill about it.

Multiple speculations are still running around the "AHS" fan base about the mysterious setting of "American Horror Story" Season 6. Some speculate that it may be set in The Thatcher School, which was introduced in "American Horror Story" Season 5. Many fans believe that this may indeed be the setting as Ryan Murphy, the executive producer of the show, revealed in an interview with the Entertainment Weekly that the plot will feature a lot of children and opera.

However, other fans also believe that "apocalypse" may be the new theme of "American Horror Story" Season 6. They have shared a fan made concept poster for the show that showcased the apocalyptic theme. Fans may have been led to believe that this is the new theme after Peters starred in "X-Men: Apocalypse" just this May.

Cheyenne Jackson adds in an interview with E! News that this new season will be "just different" from all the other seasons although "wild horses won't let him reveal the plot." Murphy, on the other hand, also teased that there will be horror tropes and creepy kids this season, and it will be different from anything they've ever done.

"American Horror Story" Season 6 will be airing on FX this October.
