Lee Min Ho, 29, spilled the beans about his awkwardness related to Chinese language amid a recent promotional event. Reportedly, the "Bounty Hunters" star faced some difficulty in expressing his ideas and opinions using Chinese.

Speaking before a dominatingly Chinese crowd, Lee admitted that speaking Chinese is not the easiest thing for him. He added, "I wanted to communicate with my fans, so I tried memorizing several lines, but it was so hard. So now I just use Korean."

Lee has been promoting his upcoming action film across China, with the film's special preview in Beijing on June 22. Further, the actor also attended two promotional road shows in Xi'an and Fuzhou on June 23 and 24, respectively.

"At first, I was worried about the unfamiliar environment and the language, but I got used to it once filming started," said Lee when asked about his experiences filming the much-awaited movie, as quoted by All K-pop. "Communicating with the actors wasn't much different from how it is in Korea, so it wasn't particularly difficult."

Apparently, Lee's visits to each region across China has pulled in a huge number of fans, making the anticipation of the film grow even higher. In a series of still photos released on Soompi, thousands of Lee's fans are seen hunkered at various floor levels in the shopping center.

As a result, the actor's agency, MYM Entertainment, cancelled the recent "Bounty Hunters" promotional event because of security reasons. Instead, Lee made a special effort to personally ask the organizers for a special film screening at a nearby movie theater.

After the screening wrapped up, Lee made a surprise appearance and expressed his gratitude toward his fans for their unending love and support for his comeback film. He has also met-and-greet hundreds of fans, who were patiently waiting for him in front of his hotel.

Lee, who catapulted to international fame with Boys Over Flowers (2009) as Gu Jun-Pyo, will make his big screen comeback in "Bounty Hunters," alongside Wallace Chung and Tiffany Tang. The Chinese-South Korean-Hong Kong co-production film, which also stars Karena Ng, Louis Fan, and Jones Xu, is scheduled for release in China on July 1, Friday.
