Fans of 'Sons of Anarchy' are waiting with bated breath for the updates on the spin-off of the series, which was promised by director Kurt Sutter earlier. Since the character of Charlie Hunnam, aka Jackson "Jax" Teller, was killed in season 7, the chances of it reprising in the spin-off is bleak. As per the latest updates, filming will start in 2017.

In an interview with Men's Journal, Hunnam talked about his conversation with Sutter. "But saying good-bye to the character was a motherfucker," Hunnam stated. "As stupid as it sounds, it really felt like a genuine bereavement, because he was this guy that I loved and hung out with constantly for seven years,'' he added further. Thus, the chances of Hunnam being a part of the spin-off is bleak, the fans are curious to know about the storyline of the spin off.

Meanwhile, fans would be happy to know about the latest gig which Hunnam is involved in. He has signed a high profile advertisement campaign for Calvin Klein's newest fragrance, Reveal. The social media is full of the pictures and videos of Hunnam with the Dutch supermodel Doutzen Kroes in the short ad film. It seems Hunnam is transforming his image from the typical sensitive bad boy of ''Sons Of Anarchy'' to a desirable man to every woman.

Meanwhile, Sutter has confirmed that the filming for the spinoff will start sometime in 2017. According to ReleaseDate.info, since this TV series was popular amongst the critics and audience, the makers feel that a spin-off might do very well and bring in good returns on TV viewership. If the numbers are to be looked at, the third season has a score of 84 out of 100 on Metacritic and the premiere of the seventh season was viewed by 6.2 million viewers.

The fans already know that the tentative name of the spinoff will be ''The First 9'' and it will be set in the 1960s. Yibada will keep the viewers abreast about the upcoming spoilers and all the updates of this popular TV series. Watch Hunnam and the rest of the cast in this entertaining video.
