If recent reports are anything to go by, people can expect Android N update to hit their devices in September. According to reports, the search giant Google will release Android Nougat towards the end of September.

It is likely that Galaxy devices will be among the first batch of devices that will get the newest Android N operating system. According to reports, the current models of their phablet and smartphone flagships will receive the new Android operating system beginning in September.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 will be the first to get Android N update.

According to a report from SamMobile, the mobile carrier T-Mobile has rolled out Android 6.0 Marshmallow to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

In addition to the update to Android Marshmallow, the patch improves carrier-specific features for the users of the device, depending on the build update. The Android M rollout releases for two versions, N910T3UVU1DPE3 and N910TUVU2DPE3.

Both versions get updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. However, N910TUVU2DPE3 will get the Google Voice fix and N910T3UVU1DPE3 will receive an anti-theft update.

The mobile carrier has said that owners of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 should download and install the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update with half of the battery capacity remaining. Also, it may be good to have WiFi connectivity or to have strong data connection.

It is important to note that the release may take days before updating all Galaxy devices under the mobile carrier. Owners of the device who have yet to get the over-the-air notification for the Android M update can manually check for the file through the Settings and About Device tabs.

Furthermore, T-Mobile is rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow to the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. According to reports, the rollout is beginning for users of Note Edge under T-Mobile subscriptions.
