Bandai Namco recently confirmed that "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will be released on Oct. 25 in the United States and on Oct. 28 PlayStation 4 XBox One and PC. It was also announced that music contributor DJ Steve Aoki will be included as a non-playable character in the upcoming installment.

The publisher is looking forward to improve any flaws the previous game had. As revealed in previous interviews, the game is expected to have improved in terms of frame rate, customization and online experience, Attack of the Fan Boy reported.

Bandai Namco Entertainment America Marketing Vice President Eric Hartness said that the goal of the upcoming game is to give the best and biggest Dragon Ball videogame experience to players. He also assured fans will surely appreciate the inclusion of DJ Steve Aoki's character and his musical contribution on "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," the report added.

Unlike the first "Dragon Ball Xenoverse," the next iteration will not be released to older platforms such as the Xbox 360 and PS3. It will only be out for PS4, Xbox One and PC, Forbes reported.

According to the same report, this may be a good thing for Bandai Namco as they can focus more by creating fewer platforms. It will also contribute to savings in terms of logistical and technical expenditure.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" was first released in Japan last winter. Since its launching on the Eastern side, fans already anticipated that it will not be long for Bandai Namco to also aim for a Western launching. As announced by the publisher, a Western release is expected to happen on Oct. 25 and 28.

Despite the reported differences between the first and upcoming game, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will still adapt the same gameplay wherein players will be tasked to go back in time to fix incidences which may cause alteration of future events. The game will give players an experience of the major events tailored to the Dragon Ball narrative.
