To compensate the disappointment of those who missed the first pre-sale of PlayStation VR in March, Sony has recently opened a new window for those who want to get the upcoming gaming device ahead of its release date slated on Oct. 13.

The new pre-sale window was opened before June ends, according to MNR Daily. The publication quoted the Japanese tech conglomerate's statement on its blog post, which said that, "As promised, we're opening our summer wave of PS (Playstation) VR pre-orders starting Thursday, June 30, at 7:00 a.m. Pacific on GameStop.com."

"Supplies are limited, and this is your final chance to pre-order," Sony company noted.

This new pre-order window will be the last one before the official launch of the much anticipated device, which means fans who might miss to place an advance order will have to wait for more or less two to three months, depending on when the device will be available on tech retail stores worldwide.

The Japanese tech giant presumably opened the two variants of PlayStation VR for the final pre-sale. First is the PSVR Core packed with no less than the virtual-reality-equipped headset. Price tag is reportedly the same as the March pre-sale, which is $399.99.

The second PlayStation VR package is the Launch Bundle, which comes with all the necessary hardware and cables for the anticipated gaming device. This deal costs a little higher at $499.99.

If you are one of those fans who badly want to get their hands on this new Sony game device, you can still relax as there is no specific target date for the pre-sale closing. On the other hand, it will surely close until there's no more PlayStation VR stock.

Because Sony's PlayStation VR costs significantly less than the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, CNet reported that it may be the most accessible high-end VR hardware as of the moment.

The Japanese company has also promised that their new gaming device will be launched with nearly 50 compatible games with it. This includes the hit games like "Job Simulator" and "Eve: Valkyrie." Sony also hinted that there will be some exclusive games like the recently announced "Star Wars Battlefront" game.
