The latest details for "Tekken 7" will feature new character style combo, in-game items, possible cross-platform gameplay and Kuma and Roger Jr. not added to the roster.

Bandai Namco revealed several new details for"Tekken 7" as game designer Michael Murray told Siliconera that the characters in the game sequels will have new attacks than can carry their opponents to a farther distance than a bound move called "Tailspins" and that wall damage mechanics have been changed to prevent long chained combos.

Game producer Katsuhiro Harada added that each character's special moves will deal damage depending on the remaining life span of the opposing character - more damage when the HP is low and less damage when the HP is more. Harada further added that he and the game developers are having a "tough decision" in other non-human characters such as Kuma and Roger Jr. in the game as it might prompt a mixed responses from gaming fans as some would prefer not add them, while others want them in the sequel as they have been part of the "Tekken" series.

In other news, it seems that "Tekken 7" will have another game feature as Bandai Namco teased that there might be a cross-platform gameplay between the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions.

Harada shared the idea of the cross-platform plans for "Tekken 7" as he explained that it will not be very difficult to do and it was under consideration by Bandai Namco .

However, there are some steps in which Bandai Namco must discuss first before they make their decisions as both Sony and Microsoft must be willing to let that happen. While Microsoft is somewhat okay with the idea, Sony on the other hand is mum about it and it will not be long before the competitiveness cools off to benefit the players.

The inclusion of the PC platform is another concern that Bandai Namco must established for the features as Harada stated that cross-play with the PC version is much easier than doing it in the consoles. But, it also presents a problem as cheaters can create loopholes that can ruin video game experience to the gamers, WinBeta reported.

Harada added that it us up to the gaming community to decide if they want to go through with cross-play in the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.

"Tekken 7" will launch in early 2017 for the PS4, Xbox One and the PC.
