The Cleveland Cavaliers have reportedly scheduled meeting with free-agent shooting guard Dwyane Wade's representative, according to a reliable league insider.

In the wake of Kevin Durant's decision to join Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green in Golden State, the Cavaliers are reportedly looking to add another piece to their championship-winning roster.

Wade, who is surprisingly unsigned this free-agency season, has already started entertaining offers from other teams following a contract impasse with the Heat, the team that drafted him and groomed him to become a superstar.

The New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks expressed their interest in the former NBA Finals MVP, but they don't have enough cap room to absorb Wade's asking price.

The Denver Nuggets and the Milwaukee Bucks, two teams with ample cap space, are still in contention for Wade, though many believe the All-Star wingman will choose a destination that can give the best shot at winning another title.

Incarcirated Bob, one of the first NBA followers to break the news of Durant's signing days before the official announcement, reported that Wade's agent has meet Cavs representatives late Monday evening.

Although many are still not buying the notion of Wade leaving the Heat, veteran NBA insider David Aldridge confirmed that there's indeed a legitimate rift between Wade and Heat front-office headed by Pat Riley. The Heat has already raised their offer to two-year, $40 million, but Wade hasn't agreed any deal as of now.

But with the birth of new super team in the Western Conference, there's a legit possibility Wade rejoin his buddy, LeBron James, this time in Cleveland to retain the title.

The Cavs, who are over the cap and paying $50M in luxury tax, will have to be creative in order to absorb Wade. A sign-and-trade coupe with Kevin Love going to Miami and Wade joining the Cavaliers is the most feasible option out there.

Love is entering the second year of his deal that pays him roughly $22 million. Cavaliers general manager David Griffin stressed that he wanted to retain the core of the championship-winning team, but the pressure is on for him to bring another dynamic scorer to the Cavaliers. The evolution of Tristan Thompson as a defensive stud also makes Love dispensable anyway.

A sign-and-trade deal would also make sense for the Heat since Love would be a perfect complement to Chris Bosh in the front-line or perhaps a replacement if he has not fully recovered from the blood clotting problems.
