Speculations have been hinted that Levi dropped his pursuit of finding Zeke and returns with the serum. Both Erwin and Armin are in bad shape, and Mikasa and Levi will be arguing over who should receive the said cure.
It can be recalled from previous discussions in Manga Helpers that most of users bought the idea that Armin is possibly alive. A cropped image was released before where it suggested that an unknown person was trying to catch Armin's fallen body after being attacked by a Titan. The image was later on cropped to remove the shadow which hinted the presence of an unidentified person who was trying to rescue Armin.
In support to these speculations, a Japanese website released spoiler images and script writing for chapter 83. These Japanese text and spoiler images showed Armin being carried by Eren, severely injured and not heavily burnt as what have been suggested previously, Jump Netabare posted.
However, some strongly believe it would take a miracle for Armin to survive the terrible burns he acquired from the Titan's attack. In a discussion posted on Reddit, some users said Armin will be needing great medical attention in order to live, while some say the burns were really worse that it cannot keep him from living.
Others even said he was either "clinically dead" or "dying." Some even pointed out they feel bad for those fans who are still hoping the character is still alive, noting it was obvious that it is impossible for any person to survive the kind of injury implicated on Armin. It seemed that users are arguing over the real state of the said character, with others even saying that those who believed Armin is already dead will feel sorry once the manga reveals he has survived.
Meanwhile, it has been rumored as well that Levi already discontinued his pursuit of finding Zeke. The soldier will return with the serum and the antidote would be either given to Erwin who is also badly injured, or Armin. Mikasa and Levi will be arguing over on whom shall receive the serum, according to a discussion from Manga Helpers said.
Confirmation of these speculations is expected to happen in a few days' time once chapter 83 is published. Readers are advised to take all of this information with a grain of salt.
