While Apple jail break fans eagerly wait for 9.3.2 jailbreak release, Pangu jailbreaking team has revealed, through recent demos, that it is still working on iOS 9.3.2, 9.3.3, and 10 jail break versions. Reports, however, show that no public release dates of any version have been confirmed as of now.
Recent claims by Forbes that iOS 9.3.2 jailbreak would come out by the end of the week were swiftly dismissed by the organizer of POC and MOSEC Vangelis, who said that the report was based on plain rumors. Rather, he seemed to shift attention from iOS 9.3.2 to 9.3.3.
Similarly, in July 1 event, Pangu showed off an iOS 9.3.2 jailbreak demo, which was followed by a glimpse at a possible iOS 9.3.3 break. The latter's possibility sparked speculations from some tech review companies, bringing forth assumptions that Apple jailbreak fans would pay much attention to iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak than that of 9.3.2.
This owes to the fact that 9.3.3 is a higher version of Apple's famed operating system and the credence that iOS 9.3.2 is not a revolutionary update in the platform. According to Redmond Pie, the latter is entirely made up of slight tweaks and fixes to improve overall user experience and not as groundbreaking as claimed.
Therefore, concentration on jailbreaking may shift entirely to iOS 9.3.3 and 10 with the recent turn of events. The earlier version's jailbreak cannot, however, be ignored since evidence shows that jailbreaking earlier versions of iOS has been easier than latter versions which have tougher security fixes.
What is more, the latest success in jailbreaking iOS 10 by Pangu has further ignited a sense of hope among jailbreaking enthusiasts. At the Mobile Security Conference (MOSEC) held in China last week, the team shared photos of the Cydia app working normally on iOS 10.
Nevertheless, Pangu and other jailbreaking communities have not confirmed of any public release date for any of the jailbreaks yet. If their demos are anything to go by, then it is good news for the jailbreak community that there is a team that is actively working to liberate iOS. But without a release date, jailbreaking fans may have to wait longer to experience a result.
