Dragon Ball Super episodes 52, 53 and 54 will be airing soon and is expected to focus on the characters of Future Trunks, Future Mai, Gohan and Goku Black while a new character might be introduced on episode 54.
For Dragon Ball Super episode 52 titled “Gohan and Future Trunks” which is set to air on July 17, it will reveal about the aftermath of the Cell Saga. In the said episode, Gohan saved Trunks in the future while Future Trunks will learn about what happened to Gohan after defeating Perfect Cell.
Speculations reveal that the Future Trunks will motivate Gohan to once again fight which means that Gohan will possibly help in saving the Earth. Future Trunks might also be fusing with Gohan since he is the only Saiyan who doesn't have a fusion partner.
Meanwhile, Dragon Ball Super episode 53 titled "Reveal Black's Real Identity! Now Off To The Kaioshin Realm Of Universe 10" which is set to air on July 31 will feature about the identity of Goku Black. Theories reveal that Gou Black is Goten, God King Zamasu, an evil Kaioshin or an evil character that managed to steal the body of Son Goku.
In the episode, Guko will also realize that Zamasu and Black contain the same Ki and in order to verify that, Beerus, the God of Destruction along with his attendant Whis will accompany Goku to Universe 10. It is speculated that there might be a battle between Goku and Zamasu, Attack of the Fan Boy reported.
Todd Blankenship, a trusted "Dragon Ball Super" informant on Twitter also revealed that "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 54 with the title "Inheritor Of Saiyan Blood: Trunks' Resolve" will air on August 7. Since Gohan, Goten and Trunks got their Saiyan powers from their fathers, no one knows who is the inheritor of the Saiyan blood which may possibly introduce us to a new character of the Saiyan race. Or there might be someone in Universe 10 that has the power equivalent to the Saiyans.
