It was not so long ago when news broke out relating to the delays of the sixth installment of George R.R. Martin's book series, "A Song for Ice and Fire." Today, rumors are loud that "The Winds of Winter" is already finished and is only awaiting to be published.

It can be recalled that "The Winds of Winter" was supposed to be released before the premiere of its TV counterpart, "Game of Thrones" Season 6, Australian Network News reported. However, it seems that the schedule was not followed due to some reasons which caused the delay of the book. Now that the sixth season of "Game of Thrones" already concluded, more speculations are pointing to a possibility that R.R. Martin has finished writing "The Winds of Winter."

According to Christian Times, the award winning author is already done writing the sixth installment of his famous book series. In spite of that, it was also said that R.R. Martin is not yet ready to publicly announce the completion of "The Winds of Winter" for some reasons, which up until now are still not known.

According to the same publication, rumors sparked about the book's completion after the author was reportedly providing the fans with tiny details on the book's different chapters. It was also said that the given details can be compiled into an e-book. With that said, a lot of fans are speculating that the famous author may be finally done in writing "The Winds of Winter."

On the other hand, the author had previously apologized to the fans of the book series through his official blog site. The author said that he is sorry for not releasing the book on time, and that he is also upset about this. He added that his editors, publishers, as well as HBO, are also upset about the released delay of "The Winds of Winter."

As of the moment, the author has not yet confirmed the completion of "The Winds of Winter," but fans are hoping that R.R. Martin would soon announce the release of the book.
