Niantic Labs may be adding more servers before they unveil the Pokémon GO release date for the international rollout as the company admitted they cannot currently accommodate the huge number of players.

The problem was exacerbated as players outside the United States, New Zealand and Australia resorted to downloading Pokémon GO APK files from third-party websites. The alternative allowed them to install the game on their Android smartphones even if the game was still not available in the Google Play Store in their country.

Now, a new statement from the official Pokémon GO Twitter account may hint on what's next on their agenda. They could be planning to add more servers in order to allow more number of players to connect to their services and prevent crashing.

Pokémon GO has not yet been released in the United Kingdom and the rest of the world. Niantic Labs has recently confirmed that they are pushing back the international rollout Pokémon GO release date due to the problems they are having with the servers, Express.co.uk has learned.

John Hanke, the CEO of Niantic, said that the Pokémon GO international release date for both the Google Play Store and Apple iTunes store will be paused for a while as they resolve the problems. There have been increasing reports of players that they cannot login to the game even if they were in the available regions.

Niantic has already assured players earlier that Pokémon GO servers will be fixed, Mobile & Apps reported. Fortunately, it is not because of the rampant Pokémon GO cheats, tips and tricks that players are using to take advantage of the game.

Players have been anticipating the game's release since its reveal several months back. It would seem to be one of Nintendo's many successful releases again in the much loved franchise from all ages.

For now, players outside the U.S., New Zealand Australia will have to wait for the official Pokémon GO release date for other countries. Niantic has already blocked off the access from outside those available regions even if players already have the APK file for Pokémon GO.
