Since the release of "Pokemon Go," every player has been trying to use every cheating technique at their disposal to either "catch 'em all" or avoid walking long distances as they try to. Unfortunately, when caught, players are getting banned from the game. Here is how to avoid it:

According to Yahoo, the most effective way of cheating in "Pokemon Go" has been rooting of Android phones, jailbreaking of iOS devices, and subsequently using GPS spoofing to mock locations. This is done by installing a GPS spoofing app, which fakes one's location to access Pokemon in other locations.

However, Niantic is detecting players who use "Pokemon Go "cheats using various tech equipment and tools in the app. Normally, "Pokemon Go" will check to see if a player's device is either jailbroken or rooted. And if it is, the app will not work. It will just generate errors to prevent cheaters from accessing Niantic servers.

It is, yet, possible to hide one's root or jailbreak to avoid detection. According to Gotta Be Mobile, this is done using spoofing apps like Hide My Root for Android and tsProtector for iPhone. Regrettably, it will not solve every problem as GPS spoofing may also get detected.

To avoid this for iPhone users, one is advised to spoof as if they are actually walking or driving. A player should not open too many Pokestops within a short period and neither should they battle at far away gyms within minutes.

For Android users, it all depends on with the version one is running on their device. Once one picks an app to help them in mocking their location, and soon after installing their framework and module, they can enable and disable mock locations.

After this, they are advised to run "POGO" and check if the technique works correctly, after which, they should, again, enable mock locations and set a location. Notably, "Pokemon Go" fans should set a location near them to avoid getting soft banned.

Considering that "Pokemon GO" developers are capable of checking whether the MockSetting option is turned on, one can use an exposed mod such as "Mock-Mock-Location" to hide that mock location is enabled. If the user's Android version is not compatible with the mod, they can resort to using the pro version of FakeGPS for $3.

All the same, "Pokemon Go" players should keep in mind that they will get banned if caught. Watch the video below for more cheats and hacks:
