Developers of "Pokémon Sun and Moon" have released a new trailer for the game that focusses on a new rare Pokémon. The creature has a unique ability despite not being a Legendary Pokémon and joins its previous cousins revealed in previous trailers.

According to Polygon, the Pokémon is called Salandit, and its design embraces a black colored body with a streak of red in its spine. Its face is believed to hold a mischievous expression, and its exclusivity from other Pokémon is because of its mixed elements.

The elements are namely the Poison and Fire types, which make it entirely different in nature as well as the abilities it carries. As if that is not enough, Salandit is equipped with a Corrosion ability. This will come in handy for the Pokémon Trainer because it can poison every other Pokémon in the Pokedex, including the Poison and Steel types.

According to details published on the official Pokémon website, Salandit emits flames and toxic gas from the base of its tail. The poisonous gas has a sweet smell, which tricks an opponent into breathing it and subsequently becoming dizzy.

In terms of power, Salandit is not very powerful. But its cunning nature will allow it to battle fiercely by throwing opponents off balance. Not only that, its female version will emit pheromones that will attract males of all other species, including humans.

Once an opponent inhales the pheromones, Salandit can control them as it wishes and at its will. Its corrosion ability will, further, inflict the Poisoned status condition on its enemies.

Salandit is expected to become useful in tournaments in "Pokémon Sun and Moon" once it launches. This owes to its abilities, which many opponents will have a hard time dealing with.

Meanwhile, fans can pre-order "Pokémon Sun and Moon" before its launch. The prices for different regions are $39.96 for Amazon and Gamestop United States, $44.73 for Amazon and GAME United Kingdom, $59.99 for EB Games Canada and ShopTo, and $49.97 for Grainger Games U.K.

"Pokémon Sun and Moon" will launch in Japan, U.S, Australia, Canada, and other American countries on Nov. 18, 2016.
