Pokemon GO cheats, tips and tricks are rife and players are looking for ways on how they will be able to walk without actually walking in real life.
One of the unique features of this augmented reality game is that players need to actually "walk" to advance in the game. Inspired by the original premise of Pokemon wherein the trainer needs to embark in a journey to search for Pokemons.
However, developers have banned Pokemon GO players who will trick their location. Some gamers were able to bypass this and enjoyed Pokemon GO on their couches. Below is the step-by-step process on how to GPS spoof your smartphone, while avoiding getting banned by the app. A great Pokemon GO cheat
Step 1: Jailbreak or root your smartphone - If you are using an iOS device, jailbreak it. If you are using an Android phone, root your device.
Step 2: Hide the jailbreak or root - Pokemon GO app will check if your device is jaiobroken or rooted and it will not work. This is an effort made by developers to prevent players from cheating in the game. Thus, install tsProtector on your iPhone to hide your jailbreak. This is a free app that prevents Pokémon Go from knowing you are jailbroken. For Android, there is Hide my Root or search for other apps or tweaks on XDA.
Step 3: Use GPS spoofing app to trick location - Download an app that will fake the location of your smartphone. For iPhone, try LocationFaker from Cydia Store; while Android phones may get Fake Location Spoofer.
Step 4: Head to Pokemon GO app - Now, trainers will be able to "catch 'em all".
However, players are advised to proceed with this tutorial with caution as once Pokemon GO detected GPS spoofing, it will lead to being ban in the game.
