However, the failed to reveal which actor will be playing the said role.

Twitter user @HitScreen then posted the photo of the actor and confirmed that he is the newest addition to the cast of "The Flash" season 3.

Unfortunately, no other details about the actor and his character have been released online.

Meanwhile, Lasance played the role of the villainous character Julian. The latter didn't have a good relationship with the Salvatore brothers despite the fact that he's in a relationship with their mother.

During one of the episodes from season 7, Julian decided to target both Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) by trying to kill them both during separate occasions.

Unfortunately, Julian didn't succeed and in the end, he was the one that got killed.

While he was still on the show, Lasance typically posted photos of himself with his co-stars.

On his Twitter account, the actor shared a photo with "The Vampire Diaries" season 7 recurring guest star Scarlett Byrne.

"#ThrowbackSunday? It is now. This is @scarleybyrne and I, just after we woke up, pretending..." he wrote.

The actor also posted a photo with his co-stars Somerhalder and Michael Malarkey at that time.

"So in honor of Vampire Diaries returning TONIGHT... We went to the forest. And started a boy band," he wrote.

By the looks of it, Lasance had a very good relationship with his co-stars, and his feud with Somerhalder's character is really just for show.

"The Flash" season 3 will premiere on The CW on Oct. 4 at 8 p.m. ET.
