"Pokemon Go" has become one of the popular mobile games in the U.S. and some companies have even come up with a special "Pokemon" themed promotion program for its customers. T-Mobile has recently announced a one-year free unlimited high-speed data offer for its subscribers playing the game, along with other giveaways and special discounts.

T-Mobile has unveiled its upcoming "T-Mobile Tuesday" promo where subscribers can enjoy unlimited data use when playing "Pokemon Go," MacRumors reported. The said promo offers free data use until Aug. 17, 2017. T-Mobile customers would need to sign into the carrier's app to redeem the special "Pokemon Go" one year free data use. Subscribers can avail of the promo beginning Tuesday, July 19 until Aug. 9. 

Apart from unlimited data use, the upcoming "T-Mobile Tuesday" offering will also provide subscribers free Lyft rides up to $15 to travel to new locations to catch Pokemon characters or visit Pokestops and gyms. T-Mobile has also partnered with Wendy's to gift subscribers with a free Frosty. The company also included a 50 percent discount for T-mobile accessories.

The company has also included two "Pokemon" themed raffle items where 250 subscribers can have the chance to win $100 worth of Pokecoins, as indicated in the same report. Avid "Pokemon Go" players can use the said coins to purchase items in the gaming app.

On the other hand, the second raffle promo will allow 5 subscribers to travel anywhere in the U.S. for a "Pokemon Go" hunting adventure. T-Mobile's latest "Pokemon" themed giveaways and discount promo will be available on Tuesday, July 19.

In other news, some players may have been taken by surprise when they received a notification from their respective carriers on their data usage since playing "Pokemon Go." Gaming tips included in a report posted on Reuters has listed several suggestions to limit data usage when playing the game. One tip indicated taking advantage of areas and establishments with free Wifi access.

Another tip involved turning off a smartphone's notification settings for emails and other apps. It is also best to turn off unused apps that may be sending off or receiving data even when the device is idle.

"Pokemon Go" was released in the U.S. on July 6, as well as in Australia and New Zealand. The game recently went live in the U.K. on July 13.
