Superhero movie fans have reason to finally celebrate as the world's favorite web-swinger is now part of Avenger movies. In a press release, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have announced that Spider-Man will officially be a part of "Marvel Cinematic Universe" MCU.

For Marvel fans, however, there is still one question that these two motion picture giants need to answer. Who is going to play the Spider-Man for the upcoming movie reboot?

And by this, fans do not mean which celebrity they want to be casted for the role.

Fans of the movie franchise are caught thinking which of the Spider-Men the franchise will choose. Will it be Peter Parker or the more current Miles Morales?

Peter Parker is the Spiderman most of us are familiar with. Parker has been featured in the previous Spider-Man movies.

Miles Morales, on the other hand, was created in 2011 by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Sara Pichelli for the Marvel's Ultimate Universe, Inquisitr said in a report.

Morales is a Brooklyn raised American teenager of Black and Hispanic descent. He got his web-swinger superpowers in the same way as Parker did. The character was created in the wake of the death of Peter Parker in Ultimate Universe.

In a press release posted by Marvel, Sony Pictures Entertainment Motion Picture Group President Doug Belgrad seemed to have dismissed possibilities of Morales appearing as the new Spiderman.

"Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios share a love for the characters in the Spider-Man universe and have a long, successful history of working together. This new level of collaboration is the perfect way to take Peter Parker's story into the future," Belgrad added.

That said, fans may have to settle in seeing Miles Morales in animated TV series and comics for now.
