"There's a feminist collective in New York who wrote to me a couple years ago and they said, 'We don't care how many of the male characters you kill off, but if you do anything to Lagertha, you're in trouble," Hirst quipped. "So I'm very careful about that warning."

Winnick's character is so important and the series creator teased that he cannot afford to eliminate her. Hirst added that Lagertha is central to the show and he needs her.

The fan-favorite character will sport a new look - her hair will have tiny bits of Celtic metal. A new still via Winnick's official Instagram account reveals how great her new hairstyle is.

From the image, Lagertha still has the intricate hair braid but this time, there are floral metal accents attached to a black crown within the braided hair. Besides the new hairstyle look, Lagertha will have a new costume when Season 4B premieres. The actress as well posted a photo of an accessory she would have to wear during filming. In the still, Winnick was holding a pack labelled "nip*le covers."

Meanwhile, the History network is set with exciting treats for "Vikings" fans who will attend the San Diego Convention Center, scheduled for July 20. The network revealed the program for the imminent event.

Aficionados who will visit the Vikings Vipers Den should be ready to experience the same horror during the Vikings period, according to a post on the History network official website. Apparently, fans will be treated with the raw fear of being surrounded by real snakes in a dark, dank abyss with no instantaneous escape.

Attendees who will be courageous enough to enter the den will have their screams and writhing caught on camera in shareable fast gifs. Those who will make it out of the den will get a Vikings Viper Cuff.
