Avid fans of Telltale Games and Mojang's sandbox video game will soon have another "Minecraft: Story Mode" episode to enjoy. Episode 7 will be released in the last week of July on various platforms.
The seventh episode of "Minecraft: Story Mode" titled "Access Denied" will see the game's beloved characters' ongoing adventure to find a way home, Polygon reported. The said upcoming episode is part of the new story arc introduced after the game's fifth episode. Fans can also expect two more episodes to complete game's "Story Mode" saga.
In the upcoming "Access Denied" episode, Jesse and his gang will continue their quest to discover a portal that will lead them home. However, Episode 7 will find these beloved "Minecraft" characters in PAMA's world, an evil "thinking machine" that can control the actions of other people. The challenge to escape PAMA's controlling ways will then ensue, along with beloved characters trying their best to free other people from slavery.
The game developers have also unveiled a trailer to tease what fans can expect from "Minecraft: Story Mode" Episode 7. The clip posted on the same report has shown PAMA's ability to command other people while Jesse and his gang try to avoid being captured. An interesting shot also featured Jesse putting on a VR device to fight PAMA and other creatures such as zombies.
Jesse and his team will also encounter some hazards that are even weirder than those featured in the game's Episode 6, according to a report posted on Mojang's website. The team's exploration of the Portal Hallway will also lead beloved characters to discover vast worlds that are more dangerous than the previous worlds that the team encountered.
Meanwhile, players can purchase Episode 7 "Access Denied" at $4.99. Avid fans can also opt to get the said episode as part of the three-episode Adventure Pass that will retail for $14.99. However, new gamers would need to own at least episode one of the game's "Story Mode" tale to view and access the upcoming new episode.
"Minecraft: Story Mode" Episode 7 will be released on July 26 on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, Mac, as well as iOS and Android devices.
