When the people who noticed the folder began to ask questions to Reidford, the conceptual artist immediately deleted the folder or might have change the icon. As a result, game enthusiasts led to speculate that his action may be an indication that Valve is developing "Left 4 Dead 3" but does not want to confirm it because the video game company does not want people to expect for a certain release date, Vine Report has learned.

Although reports are loud that Reidford's action in deleting "Left 4 Dead 3" folder is a way to cover his mistake of somehow giving a hint to the fans, the same publication did also note that he may only be teasing the game's supporter, given that the fans of the franchise is highly interested on whatever news related to "Left 4 Dead 3."

This is not the first time that an employee from Valve provided a hint or committed a mistake of giving a clue about the possible development of "Left 4 Dead 3." The co-creator of "Counter Strike," Minh Le, was caught to be noting in 2014 that "Left 4 Dead 3" looked great, Reliable Gaming Network reported. With Le and Reidford's clues, fans are speculating that "Left 4 Dead 3" may come out soon.

As of the moment, Valve is mum about "Left 4 Dead 3," and even 'Half Life 3." Despite of this, fans of the franchise remains optimistic that their favorite game will have a third installment soon.
