The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 have finally acquired "Fallout 4's" update 1.6. A major game character also gets an upgrade with the new patch.

Bethesda tweeted recently that the latest update for the popular post-apocalyptic role-playing game has been released for the Xbox One. The PS4 patch was still not released at that time.

The game company tweeted again after a while to announce that the other console's patch has also been released. The Xbox One version was supposed to be launched last week following the PC release, which was on July, but the PS4 did not get a specific date for its launch.

The new update also updated one of the video game's characters, which is Codsworth. According to Gamespot, this update enhances his vocabulary with more than 300 new names, which lets him recognize the names of the characters that the players choose. The update also supports the upcoming DLCs and new icons in the Workshop mode, which are related to the DLC items.

On July 26, the Vault-Tec Workshop DLC will be released on all platforms. This upcoming DLC will be followed by the video game's final DLC release, which is Nuka-World on August.

According to VG247, the players who own the PC version of the game get a useful feature from the latest update. When they will exit the game, whether to the desktop or the main menu, the video game will now make an ExitSave for them. This useful temporary save will get deleted automatically after the players will load this next time they play the game, and this will work on all difficulty levels, even the very difficult Survival mode.

The new update has also fixed different bugs that the video game was plagued with. It has stabilized the video game and also made some improvements to its performance. It has fixed an issue where targeting an enemy weapon while in VATS will crash the game.

The update has also fixed the issue where the Companion of the player will gets stuck walking all of a sudden and will not run. It has also fixed different mission issues like getting stuck in elevators, and not completing the mission properly. Unfortunately, the issue where the player will become permanently invisible has also been fixed.
