After the box-office success of the "Running Man" film adaptation that she is a cast member of, Hong Kong-based actress Angelababy enjoyed the snow of Hokkaido with her partner, Chinese actor Huang Xiaoming.

Photos of the couple's skiing trip were published by the female celebrity on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo, as the one-year anniversary of the pair's relationship draws near.

The Weibo images project a couple whose relationship continues to blossom, after Angelababy and Huang first became involved on Feb. 28 last year, the day of the actress' 25th birthday.

Consistent with the cute aesthetic that remains immensely popular in eastern and northern Asian cultures, the two celebrities wore furry animal headgear--a rabbit for Angelababy and a panda for her beau--while the "Running Man" star referred to Huang as "Prince" in her Weibo update.

It is likely that the warmth conveyed in Angelababy's holiday pictures was partially generated by the headlines that "Running Man," which is her latest feature-film vehicle, has garnered.

Spun off from a successful Korean television show, the film also stars Wang Baoqiang ("Lost in Thailand") and Korean singer and TV personality Kim Jong-Kook.

Although the filming process for the adaptation reportedly lasted for only six days, the film shot to the top of the Chinese box office in its first week of release, drawing in $24.9 million worth of receipts ahead of the "The Hobbit" and "Boonie Bears: Mystical Winter."

Angelababy informed her followers that the Hokkaido ski trip would be followed by a family-reunion gathering with the actor's family in Qingdao.

The homeward journey to see Huang's great-grandmother, relatives and friends during Chinese New Year began on Tuesday, and the couple will remain in the Shandong Province until Saturday.

A San Fransisco filming location for Huang's next movie, "My Sunshine," is the couple's next destination.
