The first new Pokemon to be revealed is the Wimpod, which is a roach type creature. To get away from enemies, it sprays noxious gas at them to ward them off. It also has the ability Wimp Out, which lets the bug/water type Pokemon run away from battle if it has half of its hit points.

The Mudsdale is a powerful horse that has been banned from walking around the streets of Alola, because it might crack the pavement. The creature is a ground-type that uses its coating of mud as protection against enemy attacks. It also has the new ability called Stamina, which increases its defense stat after it takes damage from enemies.

The next Pokemon is the Fairy type Comfey, which looks like a crown of flowers. It uses its collection of posies to protect itself against other Pokemon that might harm it. It also has the Triage ability, which restores health in the midst of battle.

The last new Pokemon is the Bounsweet, which is a piece of fruits that has a face on it. It is said that this Pokemon smells really nice, which is bad for it since other Pokemon mistake it for food. It is a spherical Grass type with abilities like Leaf Guard and Oblivious.

According to Eurogamer, it was also revealed that the new video game will let players train their Pokemon even further. They can level up their creatures beyond the level cap of 100, through a new mechanic called Hyper Training. This feature will only be available for Pokemon that has leveled up to 100.

This new feature lets players take a level 100 Pokemon and use it to boost all of the creature's six IV categories, which are the base stats of its hit points, attack, defense, special attack, speed, and defense. Players can now maximize all of their creature's stats in a more convenient way. The process of getting this type of training will have some difficulty, but the results are worth it for the players.
