The Golden State Warriors could consider signing Gerald Green or Kevin Martin to complete the supporting cast of their super-team.

The Warriors may not be finished yet in adding the final pieces that would complete Golden State's star-studded lineup. With the market already dried up with quality free agents, the Warriors may try to lure one of the remaining available veterans who have yet to ink deals with teams.

According to Forbes writer Matt Connolly, two free agents the Warriors may pursue are Gerald Green and Kevin Martin.

Green had a subpar stint with the Miami Heat last season, averaging only 8.9 points on 39.2 shooting from the field. Those numbers are far from his production with the Suns a couple of years ago, but Green could still contribute to a contender like the Warriors.

Capable of defending and scoring in transition, Green would fit well in Steve Kerr's system. While his outside shooting would be a raise for concern, he could get more open shots playing alongside Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry.

"The former dunk champ's positional versatility, transition game and retooled defense would immediately make him the team's top swingman behind Andre Iguodala, and the team's tight-knit group would surely help Green keep his head on straight," Connolly wrote.

Likewise, Martin has had a lackluster campaign last season. After getting waived by the Minnesota Timberwolves in March, the San Antonio Spurs picked him up only to bury the 33-year-old shooting guard in their bench.

Martin is still likely to get a bench role with the Warriors, but his reputation as a deadly outside shooter may intrigue Golden State to give him ample minutes on the court. Martin also struggled shooting the ball from beyond the arc in the past few seasons, but should also get more open looks if paired with the Warriors' shooters.

"The longtime Sacramento Kings star would be in line for real minutes with the Warriors' top-scoring bench guard (Leandro Barbosa) now departed," Connolly added.

The Warriors' success over the past two years did not solely came from their starting lineup, but can also be credited to their deep bench. Either Green or Martin would be a valuable addition for the Warriors, especially if they could convince them to take less money as what has been the trend in the team's summer signings.
