Bethesda may have hinted that Sony could be the problem for the Fallout 4 PlayStation 4 mods delay that has been preventing players from experiencing the full power of the open-world game.

Fallout 4 mods have already arrived for Xbox One players but has left PS4 users behind. PC gamers have been enjoying mods for several months now and Bethesda has just recently rolled out the update for consoles but has run into problems with the PlayStation 4.

There were several issues with the Fallout 4 mods on the PlayStation 4 and Bethesda said that they needed the help of Sony themselves to fix the issues. PS4 players have been restless as PC and Xbox One users are already enjoying mods.

Bethesda's own Pete Hines has tried to do some damage control via his official Twitter account by saying that he has no updates as company policy dictates that he can't really reveal anything as of now, GamingBolt has learned. Other users have tried to ask when the Fallout 4 mods update for PlayStation 4 users will arrive but Hines just said that there are no updates yet from the developers.

All of the statements could lead to the conclusion that the problem for the Fallout 4 PS4 mods can only be resolved on Sony's side and that the company itself is not responding well. Sony could then be the main problem preventing PlayStation 4 players from having mods.

Hines did assure that they are trying to get an update for the Fallout 4 PlayStation 4 mods, Design & Trend reported. Sony has not issued a statement regarding the delay and their silence could mean that they are not at all interested in fixing the problems with their console.

The company is also busy preparing for the launch of the PlayStation VR in a couple of months. They could also be tweaking and testing the PlayStation Neo which is rumored to be launching this fall.

Fallout 4 mods for PlayStation 4 players will have to wait until Bethesda and Sony resolve the issues. Players should just try to enjoy the wasteland in its stock vanilla glory.
