The upcoming Huawei Honor 8 will feature high-end specs for $300. The smartphone has also passed the FCC certification.

The new Huawei smartphone will have impressive features that will top its predecessors like the Huawei P9 and Honor 5C. According to Scoop Everyday, it is the phone series' most high-end sub-brand in the market today.

The Honor 8 has more sophisticated features compared to its predecessor Honor 5X. It also has a polished design of its full-metal jacket body.

The device also has a 5.2 inch full HD panel, and it has a graphic-ready HiSilicon Kirin 950 platform. Its octa-core variety will be clocked at 2.3 GHz, and it will also have a 3-4 GB of RAM.

The Honor 8 will come with two versions, which are the 3 GB RAM with 32 GB of storage, and the 4 GB RAM with 64 GB of storage. It will also have high-end features like a fingerprint scanner, NFC, 4G LTE, and a Type-C USB port. A removable 3,000 mAh battery is also featured in this upcoming smartphone from the manufacturer.

The rear camera of the smartphone will have a dual 12 MP camera setup. It will be equipped with a Laser Autofocus and Dual-LED flash. The front camera will have the 8 MP sensor and LED flash.

For the mobile operating system of this smartphone, it will have a pre-loaded Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It will also have the manufacturer's best version of the EMUI 4.1 user interface customization.

The smartphone manufacturer is also currently releasing smartphones that are affordable for the masses. They want to advance their sales internationally, and they also want to overcome other manufacturers like Xiaomi, OnePlus, and OPPO. These competitors have already added their own smartphones in their 2016 lineup.

According to the official website of the Federal Communications Commission, a new device was examined by them, and it was carrying the model number Huawei FDR-L04. Experts believe this device was the Huawei Honor 8.

It was confirmed that the smartphone will be coming to the United States after the manufacter invited media like 9 to 5 Google to a special event. It will be a special launching event for the Huawei Honor 8, which will be held in San Francisco on Aug. 16.
