Avid fans of the "Dragon Ball" franchise may soon enjoy a collection of new characters in the soon-to-be-released Nintendo 3DS game titled "Dragon Ball Fusions."

The upcoming "Dragon Ball Fusions" is a unique gaming title where players can enjoy several fused versions of beloved characters. Latest updates indicate that gamers will see a different Ginyu Force team in the said 3DS game. An English translation of the Japanese magazine V Jump posted on ShonenGamez revealed an all-female version of the characters Burter, Ginyu, Guldo, Jeice and Recoome.

Apart from the female Ginyu Force team, the Great Satan-man has also been added to the upcoming game. The said character is a fused version of Mister Satan and the Great Saiyanman. It is also said to be the winning character from a fan competition that was held during the early part of the year.

The new character Great Satan-man was created by a fan named Tsuruchi Haya. The contest's organizers reportedly found the fan's creation funny and described it as an amazing fusion choice. A special QR (quick response) code was also included in the said magazine that will allow the gamers to get the Great Satan-man as a partner character in the game. Apart from being featured in the upcoming game, the said character will also be included in the "Dragon Ball Fusions" manga, as indicated in the same report.

Another new game feature unveiled in the V Jump magazine included a "photo fusion" mode where players can combine images of their faces to create a new character. Gamers can use the 3DS camera to take a picture of themselves, as well as a friend's face and fuse these two images to come up with a new warrior.

Meanwhile, Bandai Namco has recently released two new commercials in Japan that previewed some of the many fusion choices in the upcoming game, Anime News Network reported. Some of the fusion combinations include Piccolo and Krillin, young Goku and Krillin, Kakarot and Broly, and more.

"Dragon Ball Fusions" has been slated for release in Japan on Aug. 4 on Nintendo 3DS.
