Jason Momoa as the DC superhero Aquaman was finally unveiled on Feb. 19, Thursday night.

Zack Snyder, the director of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" tweeted the first image of Momoa as Arthur Curry. The photo revealed a more grounded version of the comic book 's green and orange armor and numerous tattoos, while holding his signature "trident" weapon.

"There is only one true King. #unitetheseven," he captioned the photo.

Aquaman is a member of the forthcoming Justice League, along with Cyborg, The Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Batman, and Superman.

Henry Cavill will reprise Clark Kent, also known as The Superman in the 2016's "Batman Vs. Superman," while Bruce "Batman" Wayne will be portrayed by Ben Affleck. Diana "Wonder Woman" Prince will be played by Gal Gadot. This will be the actress' first DC superhero appearance before headlining her own film in 2017.

Ezra Miller is the Flash and will be featured in his own movie in 2018, while the Cyborg role is given to Ray Fisher with a 2020 feature movie.

Momoa's The Aquaman, also, will cameo in the Superman/Batman team-up film before making his own feature film in the summer of 2018. This solo film has not revealed its director yet.

All of the members of the Justice League will join forces for "Justice League," which will be directed by Snyder. It will be a two part film; the first installment is said to hit theaters in 2017 while the second part in 2019.

"Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be shown on theaters in 2016, The Verge reported.
