Liverpool will be coming off a 0-1 loss to fellow English club Chelsea FC at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena as Reds manager Jürgen Klopp faced head coach Antonio Conte for the first time as the Blues' coach, via Goal.

English defender Gary Cahill scored the lone goal of the contest with a header at the 10th minute off a corner kick by Cesc Fabregas to hand Liverpool their first friendly loss in the preseason after four straight victories.

The Reds were not able to find the equalizer even after Fabregas was sent off at the 70th for an excessive tackle on Estonian defender Ragnar Klavan.

Meanwhile, Milan outlasted Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, 3-3 (5-3) on penalties, in their own exhibition match at the Soldier Field in Chicago, as per Daily Mail Online.

M'Baye Niang opened the scoring for Il Diavolo while teammates Andrea Bertolacci, and Juraj Kucka also provided goals for new I Rossoneri manager Vincenzo Montella. One goal from David Alaba and a brace from Franck Ribéry completed the three-goal haul of new Bayern Munich head coach Carlo Ancelotti to send the game into a penalty shootout.

Milan netted all of their five spot kicks during the shootout while young goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma stopped Bayern's Brazilian right back Rafinha from converting his turn to come away with the win.

While the Reds are winding down on their preseason campaign, Milan is just beginning. A high-energy game is expected with the Red and Blacks pulling off a close one.

The predicted result is a 2-1 win for AC Milan.
