Fans of the hit TV series "Jane the Virgin" can expect more twists in the coming season as there is a potential for Jane's parents to get back together.

While Xiomara (Andrea Navedo) goes through an unexpected pregnancy, there is a speculation that Jane's mother may reunite with Rogelio (Jaime Camil), Jane's father.

According to MNR Daily, Navedo shared in an interview that her character is undergoing a lot of development. She shared that she has recently chatted with executive producer Jennie Urman, stating that the latter "wanted to discuss everything about Xiomara and what the plans are for her."

Some of these facts are still confidential; however, Navedo did give her interviewer a piece of her mind. She thinks that her character will mature a lot in "Jane the Virgin" Season 3, a growth that was hinted at in Season 2. The 38-year-old actress shared that Xiomara will put more effort in "growing as a person, as a woman," and accepting her own self despite her flaws and mistakes in the past.

Navedo also shared that she thinks Xiomara and Rogelio "have to be together," hinting that the ex-couple may find their way back to each other's arms in "Jane the Virgin" Season 3's future episodes. However, this may not be that easy for the two, since Rogelio will not be "too thrilled" about the fact that Xiomara is carrying a baby.

According to Game N Guide, the fact that the father of Xiomara's child is Rogelio's enemy, the latter might have a hard time accepting the child, thus, there may be a possibility that Xiomara might abort the child in "Jane the Virgin" Season 3. However, given that she kept Jane during her teenage years, she might think twice about this potential decision.

Speaking of Rogelio, there are also a few things in store for the character. The telenovela actor is apparently planning to act in the English adaptation of "The Passions of Santos," and this potential is a personal favorite of the executive producer, a story line she is "personally looking forward to."

"Jane the Virgin" Season 3 will air on small screens on Oct. 17 only on The CW.
