Bayern demolished Italian Serie A side Inter Milan, 4-1, at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina last Saturday to redeem themselves from the 3-3 (3-5) penalties loss to AC Milan three days prior, as per Daily Mail Online.

American striker Julian Green was impressive for new manager Carlo Ancelotti's squad, netting a hat trick in the first half, at the seventh, 30th, and 35th minutes en route to the Bavarians' four-goal haul in the first 45 minutes of play.

Midfielder Franck Ribery was Bayern's other scorer, flicking a goal from the edge of the 6-yard box at the 13th minute before Green scored two more.

Inter captain Mauro Icardi provided the consolation goal for I Nerazzurri right at the stroke of full time to avoid an embarrassing shutout.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid also recovered from their poor performance against Paris Saint-Germain on July 27 to edge Chelsea, 3-2, at the Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Michigan that saw the largest crowd ever gathered in a football game held in the United States with 105,826 people in attendance, via The Guardian.

Real scored three goals in the first half, courtesy of a double from Brazilian left back Marcelo and one from Dominican forward Mariano, to bury the Blues to an early hole.

Chelsea was able to fight back in the second half as Belgian midfielder Eden Hazard showcased his skills with a brace at the 80th minute and in injury time to close the gap to only one-point as time expired.

A close match is expected between Die Roten and Los Blancos as both teams look to finish their ICC campaign on a high note before competing in their respective Super Cups later this month.

The predicted result is a 2-1 victory for Real Madrid.
