When asked about the band members' plans for their impending two-year mandatory service, G-Dragon joked that he has hesitations in joining the military and would rather stay as an active musician. The singer and his fellow group members have risen to fame since the Korean band debuted in August 2006. Bigbang has become of the popular Kpop bands, not only in Seoul but in other countries as well.

On a serious note, G-Dragon added that completing the military service is something that he and his band members are willing to do. He indicated that it is an honor to serve the country and his fellow citizens should they require his service. "Whenever our country calls us, we'll go ... We'll go and do our duty well," he stated.

Although the Bigbang band leader did not share details about the group's military enlistment schedule, he commented that they will continue to show their talents to loyal fans. G-Dragon also shared his apprehensions on whether the band will be able to make a music comeback after their mandatory service. The singer explained that some of the band members' life goals and career aspirations may change after the two-year period.

On the other hand, Bigbang group member T.O.P. remained optimistic about the band's future, Yonhap News reported. He shared during the same press conference that he and his fellow band members will continue to showcase their musical talents as long as their fans would want them to. However, he stated that should the public's interest in Bigbang fade in the future, then the group may not be able to stage a successful music comeback.

Meanwhile, the Korean band's special anniversary exhibition will be available for public viewing until the end of October. The group will also hold a concert titled "BigBang10 the Concert - 0.TO.10" on Aug. 10 to commemorate its 10th year anniversary.
