During her Q&A at the Television Critics Association, Mariah Carey delivered her replies with a mix of both apparent seriousness and coolness. She and her seven shirtless hunks took the stage before reporters during the TCA 2016 press tour debut on Aug. 3, Wednesday.

The singer talked about her upcoming reality show on E!, "Mariah's World." Her eight-part document series will start on Dec. 4 at 9 p.m. ET.

Carey's show will premiere in the United States and Canada, with airings to follow after on E!'s international channels in Latin America, Asia, Europe and elsewhere. The series will detail her 2016 concert tour kick off details as well as her marriage plans to Australian billionaire James Packer, the Associated Press reported.

The songstress was reportedly hilarious in some of her statements during the TCA 2016 press tour, according to Entertainment Weekly. For the singer, her "Mariah's World" is a non-reality show because it is more of a docu-series. She admitted she does not watch reality shows.

"There's no way I was like, 'Ooh, let's do some kind of reality thing," Carey said. "I don't even know what reality is. Literally. In terms of like, real or not real."

Carey talked about her kids as well. When asked if her show will have the appearance of her children, she believes they are funny and could have their own show. They have just turned five, and she still would figure out with ex-husband Nick Cannon how much they want their kids on the show.

While receiving a touch-up from her hair and make-up artists on stage, the singer jested that it is very expensive. When asked what can be the people's biggest misconception of her, she hopes people see her other side, which can be something good or entertaining rather than bad. She doubts if anybody knows the real her because seeing her on TV and in interviews is not enough time to know her.

As a pop star, she was asked which upcoming female artists she admires. The reply was that there are a few lovely ladies, but "it's not their day."

Will her ex-husband Cannon with whom she has five-year-old twins join her in the series? Carey said that she cannot speak for him because they are not together anymore, though it will be cool if he is on the show and comes around with the kids.
