Kim Woo Bin and Bae Suzy's drama "Uncontrollably Fond" has gained the interest of Chinese fans. The KBS series has reached more than 700 million online views in the said Asian country.

It appears that Chinese fans cannot get enough of Kim and Bae and their melodrama "Uncontrollably Fond." The KBS series has been airing simultaneously in China since it first debuted in early July. Chinese viewers can watch the said drama through Youku, an online video sharing site. Production officials shared that the KBS drama has already reached a viewership level of 776 million views, Yonhap reported.

Kim and Bae's drama is expected to top the SBS series "Pinocchio" that starred Park Shin Hye and Lee Jong Suk. The said series was said to have gained around 1.4 billion views on Youku by the time that it concluded its 20 episode run. Production officials speculated that "Uncontrollably Fond" may soon exceed the SBS series.

The KBS drama has recently reached its halfway point with episode 10 that aired on Thursday, Aug. 4. A production official commented that the series' storyline is expected to become more intriguing, as indicated in the same report. The said official added that the pace of the drama will start to pick up in the final half of the series.

"Uncontrollably Fond" tells the tragic story of Kim's Shin Joon Young, a headstrong Korean singer and actor who suffers from a terminal illness. After a doctor diagnosed that he only has a few months to live, he is then reunited with his first love, Bae's No Eul who is a documentary producer.

Meanwhile, latest photo stills from the KBS drama's filming set has revealed the cast members' working hard and studying their respective scripts, allkpop reported. Some of the images feature Kim, Bae, as well as co-stars Lim Joo Eun and Lim Ju Hwan, as they looked at their scripts to memorize their dialogues. A few of the photos also gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at the drama's filming activities.

"Uncontrollably Fond" airs every Wednesday and Thursday on KBS.
