"One-Punch Man" Season 2 will reportedly feature a love interest for Saitama. Furthermore, the hero is rumored to battle with Lord Boros, Garou, and Amai Mask.
The victory of Saitama over Lord Boros in "One-Punch Man" Season 1 does not necessarily mean that the latter will face him again. Since he is the leader of the Dark Matter Thieves, Lord Boros will not take the defeat easily. He will seemingly return as a more powerful villain and will make it his objective to finish Saitama.
During the fight between Saitama and Lord Boros, fans should expect seeing an intense battle since the story is deemed action-packed, according to iTech Post. "One-Punch Man" Season 2 episode 1 titled "The First Hero" will seemingly focus on the return of Lord Boros.
Apart from Boros, there are reports that Amai Mask and Garou will take their revenge against Saitama because of the pain they are still harboring. In fact, it is believed that Garou can match the strong punch of Saitama. However, as opposed to the hero, Garou utilizes his strength for evil purposes.
In case Saitama will fight Garou and Amai Mask, it is believed that the plot for Season 2will shift from the original storyline of the manga. Fans should remain patient to see whether this will come to fruition.
On the other hand, the hero may have an adventure that will be different from a physical combat. Reports suggest that Saitama will eventually find a love interest. With the possible love interest, the narrative will be more enjoyable for viewers since the character is speculated to be someone from Saitama's past.
With regard to the release date, rumors are rife that the second installment may arrive this October, according to MNR Daily. However, other reports suggest that Season 2 could be delayed until 2017 to allow for the manga series to finish first. There is no official statement about this, and therefore, the information should be taken with a grain of salt.
