Peace of mind, weight loss, and superb overall health are just some of the great benefits of yoga. But the fact that it requires stretches and flexes, not to mention a fair amount of time, puts a barrier to those working in offices.

Researchers at Cornell University and the Cleveland Clinic Center for Spine Health say computer usage is one of the main reasons why some women experience back pain. But back pain can be relieved or avoided by adapting simple changes in the office-one of them is proper posture, Health reported.

Yoga can help you perfect the way you sit. And there's an even greater news, as easy yoga desk poses are available for workaholics.

Neck Rolls

Before doing anything, remove your shoes if you are wearing high heels. Circle your head slowly with your eyes closed, levelling the head over the left and right ear while doing so. Swith directions after about three-five rolls.

Arm Stretches

According to Aboutstretching increases muscle flexibility, and is a vital part in any rehabilitation programs or exercises. You can have arm stretches at work without leaving your desk by just raising your arms, clasping your hands, and inverting your palms. Lean on one side and stretch. Hold for about five to eight seconds before switching sides.

Eagle Arms

Raise and fold your arms parallel to the floor and cross the left arm over the right. Bring the palms to touch and start lifting the elbows. Repeat this step with the right arm over the other.

Body Twist

Sit on the edge of your chair. Place your right hand on the back of your chair and turn to that direction. Hold for a few seconds and switch sides using the same procedure.

Wrist Stretch

This is done in a standing position. Place your palms down on your desk, with the wrists facing your computer. Lean in to the wrist and stop only when you feel pain.

Who says yoga is not possible in an office environment? For sure by now you already know.
