When "Supernatural" Season 12 returns in October 2016, it migh may be accompanied by a major revelation about Mary Winchester. At least that is what recent reports claim.

Sons Dean and Sam may discover that their knowledge about Mama's resurrection history is not accurate, TV Line claims. According to showrunner, Andrew Dabb, the story has always been that Mary stopped hunting after marrying John and settling down. However, this season might debunk the theory and viewers might find out that the whole story is not just this and a lot more is still under wraps.

In "Supernatural" Season 12, Mary will be haunted by her flaming death and its ripple effects as it led to her two sons going down the hunter path, which she did not want at all. According to Jensen Ackles, it is going to be difficult for her to process.

Talking about Mary's return, he says that the Comic-Con trailer clearly shows Dean's awful reaction as his face is down in the dirt after Mary flips. He said that Season 12 would be interesting because she is his mother but also a stranger. As per him, the adjustment is going to be very tricky.

Jared Padalecki further explains things and says that the hunting thing is Mary's fault as well. Though Sam blames his dad for the same, it is not all about him. She was the hunter and it was the Campbell family and not the Winchester family.

It may not be technically her fault but it was her lineage that led her sons to where they are now. However, instead of focusing on who is responsible for their current situation, it would be better if the boys understand that it is their life and this is what they are good at and this is the way they can help the world.

However, he agrees that it is a dangerous job and it should not be surprising to find Sam being averse to the idea of his mom going out and hunting. After all, she is his mom and he does not want her to get punched or shot or bitten by a vampire.

Recently, the "Supernatural" cast also talked about other big changes that may become apparent in Season 12 of the show, according to Nerdist.
