"Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" stars Park Bo-Gum and Kim Yoo Jung could not conceal the excitement of skinship, a Konglish term meant for all kinds of physical contact, in their psyche. During the drama's press conference, the 23-year-old actor teased a brewing romance with the latter's character in the upcoming coming-of-age drama.

On Aug. 18, Thursday, both stars attended "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" press conference at the Times Square in western Seoul. The lead stars uncovered talked about working with each other and their respective new roles in the upcoming drama.

"As soon as I saw the script for 'Moonlight Drawn By Clouds' I thought it was fun and I really wanted to do it," Soompi quoted Park as saying before a predominantly Korean crowd. "After hearing about Kim Yoo Jung getting cast, I was thankful to be able to work with a sunbaenim."

In response, the "Angry Mom" actress remarked that she was really happy when she heard that she would be working with the "Reply 1988" actor. Kim admitted that she got surprised every time she saw the latter on the grounds that Park is, indeed, handsome.

Helmed by PD Kim Sung-Yoon and Baek Sang-Hoon, "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" revolves around Lee Yeong's (Park), also known as Crown Prince Hyomyeong, transformation and growth from a boy to a respected monarch. It also follows his brewing romance with a street-savvy woman, Hong Ra-On (Kim), who eventually ends up cross-dressing as a political eunuch.

Much to the delight of many, the actor teased a bit of their on-screen romance and potential intimate scenes in the upcoming 18-episode drama. He said, "Please watch for skinship and expressions of affection through broadcasts."

The upcoming drama, which also stars Jin Young, Chae Soo-Bin, and Kwak Dong-Yeon, is based on the web novel "Gooreumi Geurin Dalbit" by Yoon Yi-Soo. Director Kim Sung-Yoon indicated that despite the series being set in the 19th century, the drama intended to show a more contemporary message rather than unveiling a political one.

When asked about the competing KBS 2TV drama, "Scarlet Heart: Goryeo," PD Kim is confident that both dramas will have distinctive charms, Yonhap News Agency reported. "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" will premiere on Aug. 22 at 10:00 PM (KST).
