Contrary to expectations that U.S. President Barack Obama would be “easy” on daughter Malia who appears to have tried marijuana when she attended Lollapalooza, reports indicate he “confronted” her.
The president was reportedly furious over the incident and “confronted” his elder daughter about the pot smoking attempt captured on video. The two went for a private walk on Martha’s Vineyard when Obama talked to Malia, reported the New York Post.
Although the president admitted before he also tried cannabis during his younger days, reports of his daughter trying things that other teens her age also experiment on is his “worst nightmare.” RadarOnline cited its source that the reason behind Obama’s strong reaction to Malia’s smoking is he wants to end his term this 2016 with a clean record, including his family members.
Besides the smoking incident, Malia was also told to leave a house party on Martha’s Vineyard which was the subject of a complaint by a neighbor due to the noise. West Tisbury Police raided the house after the first daughter had left, reported RadarOnline.
It seems Malia is making the most of her one-year gap after she graduated from Sidwell Friends in Washington, DC, this year before she starts university at Harvard in 2017.
