Apple is on the verge of releasing the iOS 10, alongside the upcoming iPhone 7 this fall. With just a few weeks before the release, the company just dropped the seventh iOS beta for public testers and developers.

iOS 10 beta 7 follows the public beta, iOS beta 6, although they are both the same version. There is, however, no mention of watchOS, macOS, or tvOS updates by Apple and it is, therefore, unclear whether they will be updated as well, 9to5 Mac reported.

The iOS 10 beta comes with new revolutionary features, which include redesigned maps, updated message app, and improved photos as well as the use of Siri in various apps. Here are some of the new exciting features of the iOS 10.

With the new iOS 10 beta, Maps are able to make proactive suggestions of where a user is likely to go and the the fastest way to get there. More so, it can also take reservations like booking a table via apps like Open Table as well as book rides via Uber.

According to Apple's Website, the iMessage apps can easily access other apps to make payments, create content and share it without actually leaving Messages. The messaging app also adds a personal touch since one is able to Send heartbeats, fireballs, sketches, and also draw over videos. In addition, a user can include animations that take over the screen when sending messages and change the look of message bubbles efficiently.

The new App store for iMessage allows a user to swap words and replace them with an emoji simply by touch. There is also a new Tapback feature which allows one to send one of six quick responses, and use stickers when posting photos or even enhance other stickers.

The new Home app allows one to turn on lights, raise window shades and unlock doors simultaneously. The Music app is redesigned to be intuitive such that one can view lyrics while listening to a song.

What is more, contextual predictions have been made easier. A user can now use 3D touch in apps like Weather and Calendar.

Apparently, one can replay rich notifications and view videos and photos, and reply texts within the notifications. Multilingual typing has also been made possible, and users can type in different languages without having to swap between keyboards.
