Rumors have been rife about the release date of the much-awaited anime, "One-Punch Man" Season 2. While there is no official announcement from the producer of the anime, Season 2 is rumored to start airing this year.

"One-Punch Man" Season 1 focused on Saitama, an overpowered protagonist who was set to become a superhero by ending his enemies with a single punch. The storyline revolves on Saitama's journey to become a licensed superhero and saving the whole world without being given any credit.

The anime series became a hit when Toonami aired an English dubbed version of "One-Punch Man" Season 1, according to GameNguide. Season 1 English dubbed version is slated to wrap up in mid-October or November.

There are many speculations with regard to the plot of the upcoming "One-Punch Man" Season 2. It is believed that Saitama may lose his overpowered capabilities, and that is when Genos will take the spotlight. There is also likelihood that a new character will be introduced with overpowered abilities, just like Saitama.

With the increased rumors about "One-Punch Man" Season 2 after the release of the English dubbed version of Season 1, producers are waiting for the version to wrap up before releasing the second installment, according to Manga Panda. As a result, fans should look forward for Season 2 in mid-October or early November.

In case this turns out to be true, there will be a big announcement, and the series is expected to be a hit just like the first season. In fact, a Japanese artist is believed to be working on Season 2, although there is no official confirmation of the information.    

Meanwhile, the victory of Saitama over Lord Boros in "One-Punch Man" Season 1 does not necessarily mean that the latter will face him again. Since he is the leader of the Dark Matter Thieves, Lord Boros will not take the defeat easily. He will seemingly return as a more powerful villain and will make it his objective to finish Saitama.
